A massive snake-shaped art installation, curled into the Chinese character “Fu” (福, symbolizing blessings and good fortune), serves as the centerpiece of a Chinese New Year-themed pop-up market at the MixC Shenzhen Bay shopping mall in Nanshan District.
Taking inspiration from classic Chinese gardens, the market features a layout resembling a traditional Chinese courtyard. With red — the color symbolizing auspice and vitality in Chinese culture — as its main theme and plenty of decorations full of Chinese elements, it is an ideal destination for visitors to take great photos to usher in the Year of the Snake.
In addition to taking photos, visitors can explore the market's 20 booths, which are showcasing and selling products such as beverages, desserts, cosmetics, fragrances, and pet products.
The pop-up market will run until April 6.
