Hello, everyone. My name is Liu Zirui. I’m from Class Three, Grade Three. Today, I'm going to introduce a book called I Survived the Bombing of Pearl Harbor 1941.
大家好，我是三（3）班的刘梓睿。今天我想为大家推荐一套我最近在阅读的英文书,叫做《我在1941年珍珠港轰炸中幸存》.
In the I Survived series,the main character is a boy called Danny. Danny didn't like rich people teasing because he was poor. When he and his good friend Finn was climbing on the fire escape, Finn fell from the second floor. (Danny's) mom decided to take Danny to Hawaii.
故事的主人公是一个叫丹妮的小男孩，他不喜欢富人取笑他，因为他很穷。一天，丹尼和他的好朋友芬恩爬上防火梯，不幸的是芬恩从二楼摔了下来，所以丹尼的妈妈决定带他去夏威夷。
Danny met Aki during his time at Hawaii. Soon they became good friends and (Danny )played at Aki's home. But the next day, the sky was filled with fighter planes, bombs pound the harbor, bullets rained down on the beaches. Aki's mother told Aki and Danny that Japanese planes were bombing the harbor, she took Aki and Danny to the underground room. But Danny saw that his mother was in trouble and he was really worried about her. So he refused to go to the underground room and tried to find his mother.
丹尼遇到了正在抓野猪宝宝的阿琪，很快他们就成了好朋友。第二天早上，丹尼和阿琪一起在阿琪家玩，他们看到天空布满了战斗机和炸弹轰炸着港口，子弹如雨点般落在海滩上。阿琪的妈妈告诉他们,日军飞机正在轰炸珍珠港，她把他们带进防空洞。但是在那里，丹尼没有找到他的妈妈，他真的很担心她，于是他离开了防空洞，去外面的海滩，试图寻找他的妈妈。
Danny was hit by the sound due to a bomb and fell to the ground. Fortunately, he was not hurt. He met his mom's old friend, Matt, and they drove to the hospital. Danny finally got reunited with his mother.
丹尼因炸弹声跌倒在地，幸运的是他没有受伤，并遇到了他母亲的老朋友麦克，麦克开车送他去医院，在那里他终于找到了自己的母亲。
I think, Danny is a very brave character. Because he refused to go to the underground room and
came out to find his mother when the outside was very dangerous.
我认为丹尼是一个非常勇敢，因为他在外面很危险的情况下，离开防空洞去寻找妈妈。
