This week marks the end of the Qs School Units 3&4 courses, and for many students, today is their last day of class. I sincerely hope everyone leaves with a wealth of knowledge and confidence as you face this exam season! Exam 2分数在总成绩中的占比为40%。
两场考试的题量都很大，尽管Exam 2可以带notes，学生往往也来不及翻看。中数考试更没有允许学生去"抠"一道题的时间，对知识的掌握必须熟练且透彻。对于颇具挑战的Exam 2大题，则更加考察学生对各个知识点的高度综合理解与应用能力，因此有的同学甚至觉得高数（Specialist Mathematics）更直白简单。
Both exams have a large number of questions, and although Exam 2 can be taken with notes, students often do not have time to go through them. Students must be proficient and thorough in their knowledge. For the challenging Exam 2 long questions, a high level of integrated understanding and application of the various knowledge points is needed, so some students even find the Specialist Mathematics more straightforward.

考试前最后十天是冲刺和查漏补缺的最后机会，我们应该做好下面的细节：
The last ten days before the exam are the final opportunity to make a sprint and address any gaps in knowledge. We should focus on the following details:
关于做题 Doing practice exams...
严格按照考试要求，在规定时间内(即：卷一1小时，卷二2小时)完成考试练习
Follow the exam instructions strictly & time yourself (1 hour for Exam 1, 2 hours for Exam 2).
优先选择VCAA的真题，其风格、难度更具有参考价值
Prioritise VCAA past exams - perfect preparation for style, difficulty and length of questions
调整生物钟，尝试选择在数学考试的时间段做题以适应节奏(例如：卷一在上午10-11点，卷二在12-2点)
Try to sit practice exam in the real MM exam time (i.e. 9-11am, 12-2pm)
温故知新 Reflect from mistakes...
将不会的题归类、分析、总结方法，写到exam notes里。
Classify, analyse and summarise difficult questions and take notes of them.
总结并记忆试卷里的关键词，特别是2卷大题。
Summarise and memorise the key words, especially those in Exam 2.
每天回顾这些卷子和notes，第二遍复习往往比只复习一遍来的印象深刻的多。
Review those test papers and notes regularly before the final exam.

重要考试技巧
MM Exam
Techniques
Manage time properly - 1.5 minutes per mark
合理分配时间，做到平均每道选择题不超过1.5分钟。
Use marks of the questions for you to identify:
What are the expected answers?
If it's a 3 mark question, and you only came up with 1 answer, there is some problem. - Usually 1 mark for method, 1 mark for each answer.
1分的题只写最后答案就可以；两分以上的一定要写步骤才能得满分。
Use CAS calculator
Be familiar with the functions/menus/commands
Avoid calculator mistakes
VCAA chief assessor's advice - Do not use CAS syntax, E.g, don't use ln(6). Use log e(6)
Use a pen rather than a pencil - answer will be scanned, if your writing is unclear then there will be no mark
A pencil may be used for plotting points when sketching graphs
When not specified, express your answer in exact form/value
Use "=" to indicate the next step
Correct notations - Notation errors commonly mentioned in examination reports include:
Missing “dx” in integration
Not writing “Inverse function: switching x and y”
Putting equals sign between things that aren’t equal
Do not skip steps in "show that" questions.
Other "special words":
“Hence” – you must use the answer you just generated from the previous question, otherwise no marks
“Hence, or otherwise” – you don’t have to use the previous answer, but it’s probably the easiest approach.
Pay attention to the connection of each question. Each big question has several questions, so you could find some connections and clues from them.
注意题目之间的联系：每道大题会分成几个部分，每部分的小题之间一般都是有联系的，通常可以用前面的结果来做下一问。
More decimal places should be used in the calculation and round at the end.
Final answer should be obvious - senior assessor - be aware that it's other people who mark you exam not your teacher
