Go through all your notes and the exam syllabus thoroughly to make sure you understand all key concepts and don’t miss any crucial points.
分析模考试卷 Analyse Practice Exams
每次完成一套试卷后，总结易错点，标记难题并找出自己的薄弱环节。
After each practice test, review your mistakes, highlight difficult questions, and identify weaker areas.
参考考试官报告，找到知识盲区并及时巩固，针对自己薄弱的知识点进行专项练习。
Refer to examiners' reports to fill in any knowledge gaps.
完全熟悉Data Book
熟知Data Book的结构和常用数据，如化学平衡、氧化还原电势等。熟悉手册的结构可以在考场上节省宝贵时间。
Get to know the structure and common data in the Data Book, like chemical equilibrium and redox potentials, to save time during the exam.
注意：Data Book不能带入考场！！！

Exam strategies
考试策略
答题顺序 Order of Questions
从最有把握的题目开始。建议先做Section B，尤其是简答题和计算题。这部分通常相对稳定，能够帮助你在考试开始时找到自信和答题节奏。完成这些之后再去解决更具挑战性、相对复杂的Section A题目。
Start with questions you’re most confident about. Many top students recommend beginning with Section B, especially short-answer and calculation questions, to build confidence and momentum.
时间管理 Time management
根据题目的分值合理分配时间。例如，4分题建议花4-5分钟完成。
Allocate time based on the marks each question is worth. For instance, a 4-mark question should take about 4-5 minutes.
大题怎么答？Structured Responses
解答大题时使用bullet points，合理使用小标题、关键词和图示，突出重点，提高阅读可读性。尽可能把化学概念联系起来解释，例如在讨论反应速率时提到温度、碰撞频率和活化能等。
For long-answer questions, use dot points, subheadings, keywords, and diagrams to make your answer clear and readable. Link chemistry concepts when possible, like discussing temperature, collision frequency, and activation energy in reaction rate questions.
细节决定一切 Attention to Units & Decimal Points
化学计算题中，单位和小数点的位置至关重要。记得检查答案的合理性，尤其是对于复杂的计算题，确保精确无误。
Ensure correct unit placement and decimal points in calculations, especially for complex problems. Check if your answer is reasonable.

"利用好读题时间去把一些长的题目看一看，先把简单的题目做完，不要过于纠结于sig fig，遇到题目不会做的时候先想想和哪些课上教的理论有关系，最后就是不要给自己太大压力，相信自己相信知识！"
"Using reading time to preview longer questions, tackling simpler ones first, not stressing too much about sig figs, and relating tough questions to classroom theories. Most importantly, believe in yourself and trust in your knowledge!"
