2024 Term 4 has started! Qs School Box Hill Secondary is offering a special three-week trial class event. We warmly invite day school students from grades 7 to 11 to contact us for a trial class and experience Qs School’s thoughtfully designed courses and exceptional learning environment firsthand.

Qs School Elite Courses旨在帮助中学生（7-10年级）脱颖而出。通过每周3小时左右的全科加速课程，我们巩固学生对关键概念的理解，并为即将面临的学术挑战做好准备。Level 8-10课程尤其有助于学生备考精英高中、科学精英高中，以及私校奖学金。

Starting from Year 9 or 10, students need to begin preparing for VCE subject selection. Chemistry, Physics, and Biology—often referred to as the "core sciences"—have always been popular VCE subjects. If you're looking to prepare for VCE science, Qs School's Science Prep course offered every fourth term is the top choice for Year 9 and 10 day school students. Led by expert teachers, this course focuses on reinforcing previous science content over one term, laying a solid foundation for success in VCE studies!

维州VCE学生必考一门英语，英语第一语言学生可以从English Mainstream (主流英语), English Language (英语语言)和Literature (文学)中选择一门；英语第二语言学生则必考EAL。英语将作为一门主课100%算入ATAR成绩，可见其重要性。

VCE数学根据难度分为三个等级：低数（General Maths）、中数（Maths Methods）和高数（Specialist Maths）。其中，中数是许多大学专业的“必修”（prerequisite）科目，因此成为众多学生的首选。而高数则是VCE中加分力度最大的科目之一，强烈推荐目标ATAR 99以上的学生学习。

VCE Mathematics is divided into three levels of difficulty: General Maths, Maths Methods, and Specialist Maths. Maths Methods is a prerequisite for university courses, making it a popular choice for students. Specialist Maths, on the other hand, is one of the highest-scaling subjects in VCE and is highly recommended for students aiming for an ATAR of 99 or above.

Qs School的中数课程分为标准班（Standard）和提高班（High-achieving），以更好地满足不同程度和需求的学生。两个班型统一使用Qs独家研发的教材，教学进度比日校更快。标准班的老师注重基础概念的讲解，而提高班则侧重实战练习。到了第四学期，U1/2中数班已经逐步进入U3/4的内容教学，而U1/2高数班则继续夯实第一、二单元的学习内容。

Qs School's Maths Methods course is divided into two levels: Standard and High-achieving, designed to better support students with different abilities and needs. Both levels use Qs School’s exclusive curriculum, with a faster pace compared to day schools. The Standard class focuses on building strong foundations and understanding concepts, while the High-achieving class emphasizes practical exercises. In the fourth term, the U1/2 Maths Methods class has gradually moved into U3/4 content, while the U1/2 Specialist Maths class continues to reinforce study areas from Units 1 and 2.

Qs School's Science U1/2 courses cover Chemistry and Physics, tailored for Year 11 students already enrolled in VCE Chemistry and Physics at their day schools. Each week, students receive practice exercises aligned with the curriculum, helping them improve their school performance while gaining early exposure to new concepts.
