As a team we had to overcome troubles with design, speaking, and writing, so I decided to move on with a slower pace and assign tasks within everyone’s abilities. It surely worked, as our team got 48 on the final presentation. It turned out to be a surprise, for we simply tried our best, but for the same reason, this victory is surefooted, too.

When I was the leader of PBL, I was nervous because I had never been the leader of sixth and seventh graders. In contrast to others, I lacked experience. So I talked to my team members about how to do more, not just to complete the mission of the PBL but to give teachers and students a wonderful speech. We all made the biggest effort, and if we got the best group, it would be an affirmation of our achievement; if not, we’ll find out how to improve and try to be better in the next presentation.

Despite initial concerns about time constraints, our presentation unfolded seamlessly, showcasing our collective diligence and efficient collaboration. This experience has been a valuable lesson in adaptability and effective communication, bolstering my leadership skills and instilling confidence for future challenges.

In the English PBL program that happened this semester, our team learned a lot from that. From the very beginning of the program, which was coming up with our design, to the final part of presenting our program, we improved our abilities in areas like creativity, team cooperation, and delivery of the project. After the program, we all felt proud and honored by what we had done. Overall, this PBL program helps us to expand our knowledge base and to break through our own limitations.

I felt that everyone had been completing this PBL project wholeheartedly while representing our idea to the class. We spent one week discussing and deciding which topic to work on; eventually, we chose the photon computer because the principles could be understood in a simple way and it was a new concept to us. During cooperation, we allocated the different parts of the works appropriately. This is such a memorable experience. Thanks to everyone for their support and collaboration!

This semester, our PBL focused on the topic of “technology”. Most students dedicated themselves into the process of designing and advancing their own products. In this course, me and my teammates obtained various abilities and habits, namely the writing skills, the online research skills, the presentation skills, and most importantly, the capability to cooperate with others efficiently and peacefully.
