G6 English PBL | 极端气候引发的动物变异设想

Our 6th grade students have been hard at work on an exciting and creative project: the Mega Mutant Monsters PBL! In this project, students explored the effects of extreme global warming by envisioning a world where the environment and animals have drastically mutated.

我们的六年级学生一直在努力完成一个令人兴奋且充满创意的项目: 极端气候引发的动物变异设想!在这个项目中,学生们通过想象一个全球变暖的极端世界来探索环境和动物的巨大变异。



Students worked in teams of four to create unique, imaginative worlds showcasing the consequences of severe climate change. Each team brought their vision to life by crafting detailed dioramas depicting their transformed environments. These dioramas displayed the teams' creative interpretations of mutated landscapes and ecosystems.

学生们四人一组,创造出独特且富有想象力的世界,展示了严重气候变化的后果。每个小组通过制作详细的场景模型来实现他们的愿景,这些场景展示了他们对变异景观和生态系统的创造性解释。


Each student also designed and sculpted their own clay monster, representing the bizarre and fascinating creatures that might evolve in such extreme conditions. These mutant monsters were both imaginative and thought-provoking, showcasing the students' creativity and understanding of environmental science.

每位学生还设计并完成了自己的粘土怪兽,代表着在这种极端条件下可能进化出的奇特而迷人的生物。这些变异动物既富有想象力又发人深省,展示了学生们的创造力和对环境科学的理解。


The project culminated in a presentation where each team shared their diorama and clay monsters with the class and teachers. The presentations were informative and entertaining, highlighting the students' hard work and collaborative efforts.

项目的精彩之处是各小组向全班同学和老师展示他们的场景模型和粘土怪兽。展示内容既有趣又具教育意义,突显了学生们的努力和团队合作精神。


We are incredibly proud of our 6th graders for their creativity, teamwork, and engagement with such an important topic. The Mega Mutant Monsters PBL not only allowed students to explore the impacts of global warming but also encouraged them to think critically about the future of our planet.

我们为六年级学生的创造力、团队合作以及对这一重要话题的投入度感到无比自豪。极端气候引发的动物变异设想这一项目,不仅让学生们探索了全球变暖所带来的影响,还鼓励他们对地球的未来进行深入地思考。
