In everyday conversation people are presented with new ideas. And in those conversations they are given the opportunity to formulate an opinion and defend that opinion based off their experiences and background information.
ESDP is a competition that fosters a student’s development in this every day skill by providing students with a topic and a short period of time to gather their thoughts.
ESDP pushes students to think critically, logically, to articulate with class, and speak with vigor to judges and audience members. Congratulations to the following students who made it to 2024 ESDP Shanghai Final in Speech!
