ESDP2025英语演讲与辩论初赛在青浦平和双语学校圆满结束
10月12日，作为ESDP2025英语演讲与辩论五项大赛上海赛区选拔基地之一，上海青浦平和双语学校顺利举办了校内选拔赛。比赛在Mr. Ellies的精彩开场致辞中正式开始，7（5）班的马嘉欣同学用一曲《Never Enough》点燃了比赛氛围。
On October 12th, as part of the selection process for the ESDP 2025 English Speech and Debate Competition in Shanghai, Shanghai Qingpu Pinghe Bilingual School successfully held the school-level selection contest. The competition officially commenced with an excellent opening speech by Mr. Ellis, and the atmosphere was ignited by Ma Jiaxin, a student from Class 5 of Grade 7, with her performance of the song "Never Enough".
本次比赛共有61位选手参与，他们在短短3分钟的准备时间内展现了超强的应变能力，紧接着进行1分半的即兴演讲。选手们的话题新颖，思维活跃，表达流畅，展现了出色的英语表达能力和演讲技巧。
A total of 61 contestants participated in this competition. They displayed their exceptional ability to adapt within a short preparation time of just 3 minutes, followed by a 1.5-minute impromptu speech. The contestants presented innovative topics, demonstrated their active thinking and fluent expression. They also showcased their excellent English language skills and public speaking techniques.

In everyday conversation, people are presented with new ideas. In those conversations, they are given the opportunity to formulate an opinion and defend that opinion based on their experiences and background knowledge.
ESDP不仅仅是对演讲与辩论技能的考验，更是对学生思维能力、逻辑分析和即兴表达的全面培养。学生们学会如何在有限的时间内高效组织思路，清晰表达观点，提升他们的综合能力。
比赛中，每一位选手都表现出了卓越的潜力，尤其是在即兴演讲中的沉着应对和勇敢表达。最终，本次比赛在郑腾飞校长的精彩致辞后圆满落下帷幕。
