世界卫生组织认为,精神卫生是指一种健康状态,在这种状态中,每个人都能够认识到自身潜力,能够适应正常的生活压力,能够有成效地工作,并能够为其居住的社区做出贡献。良好的心理健康对儿童的发展至关重要。他们的心理健康状况会对他们的学习和成为全面发展的、有韧性的个体的能力产生巨大影响。因此,照顾好祖国下一代孩子的心理健康,同时教给他们守护自己心理健康的策略也至关重要。

World Mental Health Day is an international day instituted by the World Health Organization (WHO) for global education and awareness of mental health and advocacy against social stigma.Good mental health is vital for children’s development. Their mental well-being has a huge impact on their learning and their ability to thrive as well-rounded, resilient individuals. This is why it’s really important to look after the mental health of the children you teach, and give them strategies to take care of their own mental well-being.

10月10日是世界精神卫生日,这是一个关于心理健康的节日,可以帮助学生感受放松自我的多元方式,并保持健康的学校生活平衡。这个节日也为三亚外国语学校附属第二幼儿园的师生提供了一个机会让大家探讨在学校中关于心理健康的话题。考虑到这一点,我们与学生进行了交流,并开展了一些精彩的活动,以增强他们对心理健康的理解。我们还与学生一起创建了一些冥想角或者冷静角,他们在这个过程中不仅拥有发言权还能够自主选择放松的方式,同时还能主导区域的使用,相信这些将为学生的生活和未来带来积极持久的影响。

It’s World Mental Health Day on the 10th October, a mental health day can help students feel centered, refreshed, or re-energized, as well as maintain a healthy school-life balance. And this gives us a great opportunity to explore the topic of mental health in school. With this in mind, SLSK2 have discussed and done some wonderful activities with the students to enhance their understanding of mental health. We also created some corners together with the students,they will utilize their voices, choices and ownership, which can bring a lasting positive impact on the lives and life chances of the students.

诺姆·斯潘塞博士曾说:“心理健康不是一个目的地,而是一个过程。它是关于你如何开车,而不是你往哪里去。”对于幼儿园的学习者来说也是如此,我们希望在这个年纪提高他们的自我意识和自我情感关注能力,以此为他们一生的情感稳定和幸福打下坚实的基础。在幼儿园庆祝世界精神卫生日不仅是对幼儿个体福祉的投资,也是构建更加健康、和谐社会的基石。

Mental health...is not a destination, but a process. It is about how you drive,not where you are going.(Noam Shpancer, PHD). It is the same for the young learners, we would like to raise their self awareness and self care at this young age, which can build a solid foundation for their life-long emotional stability and happiness. Celebrating World Mental Health Day in kindergartens is not only an investment in the individual well-being of young children, but also a cornerstone for building a healthier and more harmonious society.
