Elite VS Special Writing
Elite课程中的Writing部分时长50分钟，在了解、学习各种文体写作的同时，侧重点是提升阅读理解能力。学生们阅读已出版的文本，分析作者的意图和目的。通过回答阅读问题和练习推理发展分析能力。该课程涵盖各种文本类型，包括诗歌、叙述性文本和议论文。课程还包括词汇练习、语法以及公众演讲课程，增强学生表达想法的信心。
In our Elite Program, the primary goal is to enhance reading comprehension. Students engage with published texts, analyzing authorial intent and purpose. Through comprehension tasks, they develop analytical skills by answering reading questions and practicing inference. This program covers a wide range of text types, including poetry, narratives, and persuasive writing. It also integrates vocabulary practice, grammar, and public speaking courses, fostering confidence in expressing ideas.

The Level 8 Special Writing Program, on the other hand, extends these skills by focusing on the composition and creation of analytical essays. This interactive class teaches students to recognize literary techniques, identify themes and character relationships, and evaluate societal issues. Students move beyond reading comprehension to apply these insights in their own writing.

The Level 8 Special Writing Program incorporates reading comprehension tasks, vocabulary practice, and conventional grammar forms. Unlike the Elite Program, which emphasizes reading and analysis, the Special Writing Program has a stronger focus on writing, allowing students to: Write with purpose and analyze texts; Study and implement the techniques of accomplished authors; Evaluate the effectiveness of messaging in existing texts; Examinee narrative structures, character behaviors, and relationships.
