This June's 17-18 will be the launch of our Giving Day 2024, an opportunity for our community to come together during a 36-hour push to fundraise for priorities such as scholarships, research, and entrepreneurship.
捐赠日是牛津赛德一年一度36小时的筹款马拉松。通过捐赠日活动，我们的全球社群齐心协力，共同庆祝并支持那些使牛津赛德与众不同的人。去年在牛津赛德的第五个全球捐赠日，收到531份来自全球社群的捐赠，共筹集205052英镑。2024年牛津赛德的第六个捐赠日将于6月17日和18日进行。

提供配捐挑战
“配捐”是指由个人或组织提前捐赠的额外资金，旨在使捐赠日当天收到的捐赠可以翻倍。通过一系列“挑战”，校友们在活动当天的捐款可以通过实现目标来解锁配捐。配捐挑战的目标可以设定为捐赠的总金额、参与的捐赠人数或收到的捐赠数量。
为捐赠日的配捐挑战提供资金是一种极具影响力的方式，有助于激励更多的捐款支持。今年，我们鼓励更多校友参与配捐机会，因为配捐可以扩大捐赠日期间每笔捐款的影响力。

Giving Day is an annual 36-hour fundraising marathon where our community comes together to celebrate and support the individuals who make Oxford Saïd special. During Oxford Saïd's fifth Giving Day last year, Rewley Fund received 531 gifts from across our community and raised £205,052. In 2024, the 17th and 18th of June will be Oxford Saïd’s sixth Giving Day.
To celebrate Giving Day 2024 and to help bring our global communities together, we would love your support. This year, in addition to donating on Giving Day, alumni will have more opportunities to support Giving Day in advance by creating matching fund challenges and becoming Giving Day Champions.

Creating Matching Fund Challenges
A 'Match', is a pool of funds donated from an individual or organisation that is intended to be used to double the amount raised. A 'Challenge' is a gift that can be unlocked by meeting a goal. Such a goal can be set based on the total dollars given, total donors engaged, or total donations received.
Supplying funding for matching challenges is an incredibly impactful way that can help to motivate more donations. This year, we encouragemore alumni to take that matching fund opportunity that has the potential to amplify the impact of every donation made during the Giving Day.
By participating as a matching donor, your contribution would serve as a catalyst for inspiring others to give generously. Alumni's leadership in this initiative would not only help us reach our fundraising goals but also demonstrate your commitment to driving positive change in our community.

Champions are essential to helping us spread the word. If you are an alumnus of theSaïd Business School, University of Oxford with a wide and active alumni social network, we would love your support in being a Giving Day Champion. We’ll provide Giving Day messages and updates, we just know firsthand how impactful it is to have these shared directly from a community leader such as yourself.
As a Champion, you can help maximise the reach of our campaigns by sharing messages with your network on social media.
We will send you emails with messaging to share throughout the day, including impactful stories from faculty and scholars, a look at what our fundraising has accomplished, and updates over the course of our Giving Day to show where your region is on our regional leader board.
We track the messages you share so you can see the impact you are making.
