Starting from September 29, 2024, the TAG Art Museum will present a major retrospective exhibition titled "Dimensions Indefinitely Variable: Sui Jianguo 1974-2024," featuring the works of Qingdao-born artist Sui Jianguo. This exhibition marks the museum's first time utilizing all of its galleries for a solo artist, paying tribute to an artist who originated from Qingdao.
The exhibition will showcase over 280 pieces, utilizing both indoor and outdoor spaces to illustrate the artist's 50-year journey from 1974 to 2024. It offers a comprehensive study of the development of contemporary sculpture in China through the lens of Sui Jianguo's work.
The TAG Art Museum's focus on projects featuring artists from Qingdao will begin with this exhibition and continue in the future.
