Qingdao Jimo Ancient City

Jimo Ancient City, also known as Zhu Mao City or Kang Wang City, was originally built during the Spring and Autumn period and was abandoned in the 16th year of Sui Kaihuang. Once the capital of Jiaodong and a significant political, economic, and cultural center in eastern Qi, it was second only to Linzi in importance. In *Records of the Grand Historian*, Su Qin praised it, saying, “Qi is rich with Langya and Jimo.” The ancient city of Jimo was grand and prosperous.



The core area of the city integrates ancient culture, traditional snacks, and exhibition halls, creating a cultural-commercial hub. The Jimo Ancient City project focuses on reconstructing public buildings such as the county office, exhibition halls, Confucius Temple, Chenghuang Temple, Caishen Temple, Zhenwu Temple, Paifang Street (with 21 archways), and a church, forming a layout of “One City, Two Streets, Ten Scenic Spots, and Thirteen Alleys.”

Weifang Qingzhou Ancient City

Qingzhou, one of the ancient Nine Provinces, boasts a rich history, having witnessed the rise and fall of six ancient cities. The current Qingzhou Ancient City was restored in 2011 and is divided into three parts: the Beiguan Ancient Street District of Dongyang City, the Ouyuan Historical and Cultural District and Nanmen Street of Nanyang City, and the Zhaode Ancient Street District of Dongguan Weizi City. 



The city is filled with a variety of government buildings, traditional residences, and classical gardens, all showcasing the distinct architectural style of the Ming and Qing dynasties, along with the customs of ancient Qingzhou. Many famous historical figures, such as Fan Zhongyan, Ouyang Xiu, and Li Qingzhao, once lived here.

Zibo Zhoucun Ancient City

The Zhoucun Ancient City has stood the test of time for hundreds of years, still preserving its original charm. With intersecting streets and a variety of shops, its architecture is diverse and distinctive. Experts from the Chinese Ancient Architecture Protection Committee have praised it as a "living museum of ancient architecture in China." 



It holds significant tourism value, offering a glimpse into a bygone era of commerce. The ancient commercial area includes streets such as Dajie, Silk Market Street, Silver Market Street, and Satin Market Street, and it is now a city-level cultural heritage site, a provincial historical building, and a key tourism development project. To the south lies the former headquarters of the Shandong National Protection Army and the Kui Xing Pavilion Temple, while to the north are the Mingjiao Temple, Qianfo Pavilion, and Huilong Bridge, making it a perfect blend of natural and cultural heritage.

Liaocheng Ancient City

The Chinese Water City, also known as Dongchang Ancient City or Liaocheng Ancient City, covers an area of just 1 square kilometer but is surrounded by 6.3 square kilometers of water. It is situated in the middle of Dongchang Lake in Liaocheng's urban area. Dating back to the Northern Song Dynasty, the city boasts a stunning "city with water, water with city" landscape, where the city and water blend harmoniously.




This reconstructed city on the Ming Dynasty ruins is centered around the famous Guangyue Tower, with a cross-shaped pedestrian commercial street dividing the city into four sections. The street is lined with traditional-style shops, offering a mix of local commercial experiences.
