On the morning of August 28th, the "Qingdao Ferry Tour of Jiaozhou Bay Launch Ceremony" organized by the Qingdao Tourism Group was successfully held at the Qingdao Ferry Terminal.
As the whistle blew, the "Qinglv 002" cruise ship slowly departed from the Qingdao Ferry Terminal, marking the official resumption of the Qingdao Ferry Jiaozhou Bay route.
Qingdao Ferry, once a vital maritime link between Qingdao and Huangdao, holds precious memories for the older generations of Qingdao residents and remains an indispensable part of their lives. It served not only as a mode of transportation but also as an emotional bridge connecting the past and the present.
The resumption of the Qingdao Ferry Jiaozhou Bay tour route further enriches the maritime tourism offerings in Qingdao’s Houhai area and boosts the development of the western Qingdao tourism industry. Moving forward, Qingdao Tourism Group will fully explore the rich tourism resources of Jiaozhou Bay, carefully cultivate unique maritime routes, and continuously enhance the quality of tourism services to support the high-quality development of Qingdao's tourism sector.

Route Information:
The "Ferry - Jiaozhou Bay Tour Route" departs from Qingdao Ferry Terminal and passes through Xiaogang, Zhonggang, the Cruise Home Port, Dagang, and the Horseshoe Reef Lighthouse, with a journey time of approximately 40 minutes before returning to the Qingdao Ferry Terminal. Citizens and tourists can take this cruise to enjoy the scenic beauty of Jiaozhou Bay and witness the glory of maritime trade and sea transportation at this century-old port.
Tickets can be purchased online by searching "青岛海洋旅游" on WeChat to access the mini-program(after entering the mini-programme, scroll down and find “环游胶州湾”), or offline at the Qingdao Ferry Terminal Ticket Office (No. 21 Sichuan Road, Shinan District).
