On the afternoon of October 23rd, 2023, the SEU 2023 Double Ninth Festival Celebration was convened at the Grand Auditorium of the Sipailou Campus, with an aim to extend best wishes to the emeritus and retired faculties who are 70 years old, 75 years old, and over 80 years old this year. Therefore, more than 600 emeritus and retired faculty members gathered to celebrate the Double Ninth Festival together. Every birthday representative was invited to take commemorative photos beside the Yongquan pond to record this unforgettable moment.
Wu Gang, Executive Vice President of SEU, Xing Jihong, Vice Secretary of the CPC SEU Committee, as well as representatives from related departments, attended the celebration. Secretary Xing Jihong presided over the celebration.
During the celebration, SEU Kindergarten, SEU Student Art Troupe, and the emeritus and retired faculties put on a variety of unique and splendid performances, winning waves of warm applause from the elderly.
