日本钢铁年产量下降3.4%
Japan’s annual steel production declines 3.4%

Japan’s crude steel production inched up month-on-month in December, but annual production remained lower than a year ago in 2024, Kallanish learns from data by the Japan Iron & Steel Federation (JISF).
12月份的产量为690.7万吨，环比增长0.3%，但低于2024年的月平均产量700万吨。这一数字也表明同比下降1.1%。
December output was up 0.3% m-o-m to 6.907 million tonnes but was below the monthly average of 7mt in 2024. The figure also represented an annual decrease of 1.1%.
2024年的年产量为8,400.9万吨，比上一年下降3.4%。其中，高炉-转炉和电弧炉炼钢工艺的产量均同比下降3.4%，分别为6,195.7万吨和2,205.2万吨。
This took annual production to 84.009mt in 2024, down 3.4% from the prior year. Within this, output contributed by the BF-BoF and EAF steelmaking routes both dropped 3.4% y-o-y, to 61.957mt and 22.052mt, respectively.
生铁是12月份唯一产量环比和同比均出现增长的产品，达到517.2万吨。然而，年产量仍同比下降3.2%，为6,102.6万吨。
Pig iron was the only one to see an increase in output on both m-o-m and y-o-y basis in December at 5.172mt. Annual production however, still fell 3.2% y-o-y to 61.026mt.
12月份和全年热轧产品产量分别比去年同期下降1.4%和3.9%，为601.2万吨和7,402万吨。
As for hot rolled products, December and annual production declined 1.4% and 3.9% from a year earlier to 6.012mt and 74.02mt, respectively.
板桩、盘螺、高碳盘条、电工钢薄板和镀锌板的年产量均高于2023年。
For annual production, sheet pilings, bars in coil, high carbon wire rod, electrical sheet and tinplate reported higher production compared with 2023.
