在刚刚过去的上周六,天津外国语大学附属外国语学校迎来了她60岁华诞。


六十载春华秋实,哺育桃李满园;

六十载风雨兼程,再谱华美乐章。

在这个特别的时刻,小外AP课程中心高二二班在读生范思达同学,以文字形式表达了他的内心情感。让我们一同欣赏——


六十载岁月,如涓涓细流,滋养着一代代学子。在这座承载梦想与希望的校园里,我们在前辈们的感召下,坚定信念,追求卓越。

Sixty years of history, like a gentle stream, have nourished generations of students. In this campus that holds dreams and hopes, we are inspired by our predecessors to uphold our beliefs and strive for excellence.


谨以此文,献给母校六十华诞,表达我对您无尽的感激与祝福。

 With this article, I dedicate my heartfelt gratitude and best wishes to my alma mater on her sixtieth anniversary.

初入校园心潮涌,前路广阔志气扬




初见小外是在去年的金秋,阳光透过梧桐树的枝丫洒下斑驳的光影,温暖柔和,空气中弥漫着秋天的气息,夹杂着几分清新的泥土味。同学们的欢声笑语如同萦绕耳畔,微风轻拂,叶子沙沙作响,似是在鼓掌欢迎我们这些新生。


兴奋、激动、期盼等各种情绪涌上我的心田,站在宽阔的校园里,我张开双臂,拥抱这全新的生活,拥抱未来的挑战。


这一刻,我在心里默默地对您说:“小外,我来了,我必不辜负这难得的学习机会,珍惜在这里的每一天。”

A stunning first encounter


My first encounter with TFLS was in the golden autumn of last year. Sunlight filtered through the leaves of the parasol trees, casting dappled shadows, the air was filled with the essence of autumn—everything was peaceful and beautiful. The laughter of students lingered in the air, while a gentle breeze rustled the leaves as if applauding our arrival as newcomers. A wave of excitement, eagerness, and anticipation surged within me. Standing on the spacious campus, I spread my arms wide, ready to embrace this new life and future challenges. At that moment, I want to say to you: “TFLS, I’m here! I will not waste this precious opportunity to learn and will cherish every single day I spend here.”

前贤引航照星辰,拨云见日立新志




校史馆里的一张张照片,带我走进了小外的历史。


我仿佛看到周恩来总理在批示建校时,凝望着窗外的远方,他看到了中华崛起的新希望;我仿佛看到了郭沫若先生在题写校名时,将对莘莘学子们的殷切期望都融入一撇一捺之中;我仿佛看到了一位位大使校友走过青葱岁月成长为共和国的栋梁之才。


小外不仅是知识的殿堂,更是培养家国情怀与国际视野的摇篮。前辈们用他们的智慧和勤奋,为学校奠定了坚实的基础。看着校史馆里那些辉煌的成就和荣誉,我感受到作为小外一员的自豪和一份责任。倏地,梦想的轮廓清晰浮现,我的心变得前所未有地坚定。


那一刻,我想对您说:“谢谢您帮我拨开了重重的迷雾,让‘为中华之崛起而读书’在我心中扎根、发芽、茁壮成长,让我第一次领悟到坚定信念带来的勇敢与力量。”



Pursue wisdom and set ambition


The photographs in the History Museum draw me into the past of TFLS. I can almost see Premier Zhou Enlai, gazing out the window as he approved the school's founding, envisioning a new hope for China's rise. 

I can envision Mr. Guo Moruo inscribing the school’s name, infusing each stroke with his heartfelt expectations for the students. I can picture alumni who have grown from their youthful days into valuable contributors to our country. 

TFLS is not just a sanctuary of knowledge but also a cradle for cultivating patriotism and global perspectives. Our esteemed alumni laid a solid foundation for the school with their wisdom and dedication. As I gaze upon the impressive achievements and honors displayed in the History Museum, I feel a deep sense of pride and responsibility as a member of TFLS. Suddenly, my dream becomes clear, and my heart fills with unprecedented determination. 

In that moment, I want to say to you: “Thank you for helping me clear the fog, allowing the idea of ‘studying for the rise of China’ to take root, sprout, and flourish in my heart, and for helping me feel the courage and strength that belief brings.”

东西文化交辉映, 书声琅琅伴梦翔



现代化的教学设施、丰富多彩的课程和多元的文化活动,让我们的学习生活充满活力。来自各国的老师们传授的不仅是知识,更是为我们架起文化交流的桥梁,激发了我对跨文化交流的热情。


在小外,我切身感受到不同文化是如何相互影响、相互融合的,通过学习和交流我的心胸更加开阔了,我的思路更加宽广了。


在小外,我们接受的是全面的教育,在这里我第一次意识到我可以用自己所学来改变社会,帮助他人。


我们的社会实践课上,老师鼓励我们用一双善于发现的眼睛去观察社会,关注不同的社会群体,去发现问题并解决问题。


在过去的一年我们尝试着去寻找引起青少年迷信的原因,并通过正向引导帮助他们走出心理误区;我们研究各种创新技术,尝试去解决市政基础设施存在的问题;我们关注白色污染并试着去破解难题......虽然我们的贡献微乎其微,但我们欢呼雀跃,我们乐于尝试,服务社会带给我们的参与感和幸福感是我们从未体验过的。


所以我想对您说:“谢谢您,让我们认识到学习的价值所在,现在我们的力量是弱小的,但总有一天我们会成长为改变社会、服务社会的主力军。”

Cultivating talent through 

cultural integration


Modern teaching facilities, diverse courses, and a variety of cultural activities infuse our learning experience with vitality. Teachers from different countries not only impart knowledge but also build bridges for cultural exchange, igniting my passion for cross-cultural communication. 

At TFLS, I have come to understand how different cultures influence and blend; through study and interaction, my horizons have broadened. Here, I received a comprehensive education and realized for the first time that I could use what I’ve learned to change society and help others. In our social practice classes, teachers encourage us to observe society with keen eyes, focusing on various social groups to identify and solve problems. 

Over the past year, we have sought to understand the causes of superstitions among youths and provided positive guidance to help them overcome psychological misconceptions. We researched innovative technologies to tackle municipal infrastructure issues and addressed the problem of white pollution. While our contributions may seem small, we celebrate each effort and embrace the joy of trying new things. The sense of participation and fulfillment from serving society is something we’ve never experienced before. 

So, I want to say to you: “Thank you for helping us recognize the true value of learning. Though our power may be small now, one day we will grow to become the main force for change and service in society.”

随着全球化的加速,我们所接受的国际化教育将愈加重要。我们这一代学生,将承载着母校的梦想,继续探索、创新,为母校增光添彩。在您六十岁生日之际,我想对您说:“感谢您为我打开了通向世界的大门,未来的日子里,我将不断进步,追求卓越。生日快乐!”

With the acceleration of globalization, international education becomes increasingly important. We will carry forward the dreams of our alma mater, continuing to explore and innovate, bringing honor to the school. On your sixtieth birthday, I want to say to you: “Thank you for opening the door to the world for me. In the days to come, I will strive to improve and pursue excellence. Happy birthday!”
