A international luxury property in Tianjin is seeking a seasoned and dynamic General Manager (GM) to lead the hotel’s operations and drive its continued success.
The ideal candidate must have prior experience working in China, be fluent in Mandarin, and possess a deep understanding of the local market and luxury hospitality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of hotel operations, ensuring the highest standards of service, quality, and guest satisfaction.
Drive the implementation of strategic initiatives to achieve the hotel’s business objectives and financial targets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including owners, corporate leadership, and local partners.
Develop and mentor the hotel’s leadership team, fostering a collaborative and performance-driven culture.
Ensure compliance with brand standards, policies, and procedures while adapting to the unique needs of the Tianjin market.
Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and enhance the hotel’s market position.
Represent the property at key industry and community events to strengthen brand presence.
Key Requirements
Proven experience as a General Manager or senior leadership role in a luxury hotel, preferably with prior experience in China.
Fluency in Mandarin is essential; proficiency in English is also required.
Strong understanding of the Chinese luxury market and cultural nuances.
Demonstrated ability to drive operational excellence and financial performance.
Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and engage diverse teams.
Experience in handling owner relationships and corporate communication.
Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
