9月18日，芜湖造船厂为英国船东RFOcean建造的6600吨不锈钢化学品船二号船（W2342）顺利开工。船东RFOcean创始人兼总经理Frederik Rye-Florentz,经纪人Hans，监造团队，BV船检，公司党委副书记潘玉宏、建造项目组出席了本次开工仪式，共同见证二号船的开工点火。On September 18, the steel cutting ceremony of the second vessel of 6,600DWT stainless steel chemical tanker (Hull No.:W2342) built by Wuhu Shipyard for British shipowner RFOcean was successfully carried out in the block workshop. 该系列船载重吨6600吨，货舱舱容7500m³，船长113.60m，型宽17.60m，型深9.00m，设计吃水6.80m，入级BV船级社。具有高自动化、智能化、节能环保等优势，兼具货物适装性等多项功能亮点。
The vessels are 6,600 metric tons deadweight stainless chemical tanker, at design draft moulded of 6.80 meters of the BV Classification Society. The capacity of cargo tank is about 7500m³. The length(O.A.) is 113.60m. The breadth moulded is about 17.60m, and the depth moulded is about 9.00m. The vessels have the advantages of high automation, intelligence, environment, cargo fitnes and so on.![]()
该系列船是芜船为上海鼎衡建造的6600吨直流电推双相不锈钢化学品船的优化版，升级后的6600吨甲醇双燃料船舶除延续高度智能化配备外，从动力、结构、冰区均有一定的改进。不仅拥有全球首创的直流电推技术，更是芜船在全球“碳中和”背景下的船舶替代清洁能源的一次新探索应用。

该6600系列首制船（W2341)已于今年5月22日开工；今年4月，RFOcean又在芜湖造船厂下单2艘18,500吨IMO II类化学品船,将于明年开工。
The steel cutting ceremony of the first vessel (Hull No.:W2341) was held on May 22nd, 2024.In April this year, RFOcean made another order for two vessels of 18,500DWT IMO II Tankers in Wuhu Shipyard, which will cut the first steel in Wuhu shipyard next year.
