In the past, sandstorms often hit my city, which polluted the air and caused trouble in our life. They made traffic move slowly, slowed down industrial and agricultural development, and damaged people's health.However, in the last few years, the government has put much money into tree planting and forest protection. It has also made environmental protection laws. For example, the use of single-use chopsticks is banned and those cutting trees illegally are punished. Sandstorms used to sweep across my city, causing air pollution and making our life difficult. Not only did they worsen traffic conditions and weaken industrial and agricultural development, but they also threatened people's health.In recent years, however, much money has been invested in tree planting and forest protection with the aim of sand-fixing.
