线上阅读马拉松接力
自2002年起,联合国教科文组织(UNESCO)于每年11月第三个星期四在其总部及世界各地举办哲学日庆祝活动。2005年,教科文组织正式将每年11月的第三个星期四定为“世界哲学日”,旨在鼓励各国、各民族分享哲学传统,分析、研究和探讨当代重大问题,从而更好地发挥哲学促进人类社会发展的巨大作用。
2024年11月21日将是第二十二个“世界哲学日”。为了迎接这一日子的到来,我们系将与美国肯庸学院(Kenyon College)哲学系再度合作,举办一次线上朗读马拉松接力活动。本次活动将由美国肯庸学院哲学系教授、华东师范大学哲学系客座教授萧阳教授主持,两校学生将以马拉松接力的形式共同朗读老子的《道德经》和维特根斯坦的《逻辑哲学论》。

Event Announcement | 2024 "World Philosophy Day" Online Reading Marathon Relay
Since 2002, people who love philosophy around the world have been celebrating “World Philosophy Day”.In 2005, UNESCO officially designated the third Thursday of November as ‘World Philosophy Day’,with the goal of encouraging people on this planet to share their philosophical traditions, discuss contemporary issues, improve mutual understanding, and promote human unity.
November 21, 2024 will mark the twenty-second “World Philosophy Day”. To celebrate this “holiday for philosophers”, the Department of Philosophy at ECNU and the Department of Philosophy at Kenyon College, USA, will collaborate with each other again to organize an online reading marathon relay event (last year we read Simone Weil). Students from both institutions will participate in a marathon-style relay reading of Laozi’s Daodejing 道德經and Wittgenstein’s Tractatus Logico-philosophicus 邏輯哲學論.

Students interested in participating are invited to join the WeChat group, where text assignments and other specific arrangements will be announced.
