于是第七颗星球就是地球了。
地球可不是一颗普通的星球。数起来，国王（当然也包括黑人国王）有111人，地理学家有7000人，工作狂有90万人，醉汉有750万人，爱慕虚荣的人有3亿1100万人，加起来大概有20亿的大人。
为了更好地理解地球的大小，这么说吧，在电力发明之前，在这六大洲上，竟需要46万2511的点灯人。
从远处看，会是很壮观的场面。这浩浩荡荡的排场，像剧院里的芭蕾舞蹈演员一样，整整齐齐。首先出场的是新西兰和澳大利亚的点灯人。点亮街灯后，他们就可以去睡觉了。接下来出场的是中国和西伯利亚的点灯人，完成他们的动作后，便退回后场。接下来出场的是俄罗斯和印度的点灯人。接着是非洲和欧洲的。接着是南美洲的。再接着是北美洲的。而且这些人是绝不会搞混自己的出场顺序的。真是太神奇了。
不过，在北极和南极上分别只有一盏街灯，这两个点灯人过着非常悠闲的生活。因为，一年中，他们只需要工作两次。
