自动驾驶何时会大规模落地？大模型是否能颠覆传统自动驾驶技术，弯道超车？交通事故的责任如何科学划分？政府的在新一轮产业升级的角色究竟应该是什么？

为促进自动驾驶行业的全球性交流与合作，我们在自动驾驶的发祥地卡内基梅隆大学举办 IEEE International Automated Vehicle Validation Conference（IAVVC），旨在为业界和学界关于自动驾驶技术测试与验证、自动驾驶技术未来的提供一个开放性的讨论平台。

会议以 “Large Deployment & Large Models”（“大落地&大模型”）为主题。涵盖自动驾驶汽车、自动驾驶出租车、自动驾驶安全的测评、车路云的基础设施建设、法律法规、信息安全、人车交互、人工智能技术等技术。

会议将于美国东部时间10月21日8:00 AM（北京时间10月21日8:00PM）开幕，为期3天。本次会议由来自CMU、Stanford、UC Berkeley、UMich、UChicago、UT Austin、USC、Tsinghua、Cambridge、Waymo、Zoox、Nvidia、Rivian、Bosch、Audi、PAVE、CATARC等知名学界、业界、政界专家共同组织。届时将有多轮演讲、圆桌讨论、现场展示环节以及参观和，供学者、企业、和相关领域从业者进行深入交流。会议论文发表在IEEE Xplore上。我们也于多个IEEE Transactions合作，推荐会议论文发表到期刊上面。

When will autonomous driving be widely adopted? Can large models revolutionize traditional autonomous driving technology and achieve a breakthrough? How should traffic accident responsibilities be scientifically divided? What role should the government play in the new wave of industrial upgrades?

To promote global exchange and cooperation in the autonomous driving industry, we are hosting the IEEE International Automated Vehicle Validation Conference (IAVVC) at Carnegie Mellon University, the birthplace of autonomous driving. The conference aims to provide an open platform for industry and academia to discuss the testing and validation of autonomous driving technology and its future.

The conference theme is "Large Deployment & Large Models." It covers topics such as autonomous vehicles, autonomous taxis, autonomous driving safety assessments, infrastructure for vehicle-road-cloud integration, laws and regulations, information security, human-vehicle interaction, artificial intelligence technology, and more.

The conference will open on October 21 at 8:00 AM Eastern Time (8:00 PM Beijing Time) and will last for three days. It is organized by renowned experts from institutions such as CMU, Stanford, UC Berkeley, UMich, UChicago, UT Austin, USC, Tsinghua, Cambridge, Waymo, Zoox, Nvidia, Rivian, Bosch, Audi, PAVE, and CATARC. There will be multiple rounds of presentations, roundtable discussions, live demonstrations, and tours for scholars, companies, and professionals in related fields to engage in in-depth exchanges. The conference papers will be published on IEEE Xplore. We are also collaborating with several IEEE Transactions to recommend conference papers for journal publication.
