On this magical land, our ancestorscreated a brilliant civilization with diligence and wisdom.We have a long history, fromancient oracle bone inscriptions to today's simplified Chinese characters, from the magnificentGreat Wall to today's toweringbuildings, every place witnessesthe development and progress of our nation.We have a rich culture, with poetry, songs, music, chess, calligraphy,and painting all showing the profoundness of traditional Chinese culture. We still havelots ofheroes who are willing to sacrificetheir lives and shedtheir blood for the dignityof the country and the interests of the nation.Although we have achieved great things, we cannot forget that our nation has also experiencedhardships and setbacks in the long river of history.
