英/deprɪ'veɪʃ(ə)n/ 美/ˌdɛprɪ'veʃən/act of depriving someone of food or money or rightsn.(1) (教会法)罢免圣职 指一种教会处罚方式，剥夺牧师的圣职和圣俸，取消圣职推荐权等优先权资格。可由教会法院依处罚法令判决执行，处罚的原因是受俸牧师疏于职守、触犯教规或犯下罪行。 (2)剥夺；丧失 将某人的财产、权利、特权等予以收回或充公，或指依国家对私有财产的征用权〔eminent domain〕而非依正当法律程序(如不给予合理的补偿)剥夺某一宪法性权利或征用某一财产。
