作为获奖艺术家，亚历山大·弗戈将在意大利马切拉塔博纳科尔西宫公民博物馆的主楼层举办个展 “Mythos“。此次展览由策展人保拉·巴勒西 (Paola Ballesi) 策划，艺术家将他的绘画创作笼罩在梦幻般的氛围中，从而探讨艺术与神话之间古老及微妙的关系。展期至 2024 年 3 月 3 日。

Gallery Vacancy is pleased to announce that artist Alessandro Fogo has been named the recipient of the 6th edition Pannaggi/Nuova Generazione Award by the Friends of Palazzo Buonaccorsi Association and the Municipality of Macerata, Macerata Musei, Macerata Culture together with the Marche Region and the Carima Foundation. The Pannaggi/Nuova Generazione Award was establish in 2017 by the Friends of Palazzo Buonaccorsi Association, with the aim of promoting young emerging artists under 40 from the Marche region, to make their work known and implemented within the national and international art scene.As the winner, Alessandro Fogo will present his solo exhibition Mythos, on the main floor of the Civic Museums of Palazzo Buonaccorsi in Macerata, Italy. The exhibition, curated by Paola Ballesi, reflects on the ancient relationship between art and myth through a nucleus of pictorial works, in a powerful synthesis of the artist's imaginary world. It will be on view until 3 March 2024.

In 2017, he obtained a Master in painting at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp, Belgium after graduating with BA at IUAV Visual Arts in Venice. Fogo approaches through his painting practice, how the idea of mythical reasoning remains poignant to the revelation of our contemporary reality. Sourcing the myths around Italian mythological tales and the multifarious forms of idols throughout history, Fogo weaves personal narratives with mystical symbology to conjure visionary and allegorical qualities to his paintings. Like sensate lullabies, each scene speaks a mystical idiolect of their own, a language of lamentation for mystical lost to avant-garde practises throughout the present.
