为什么要在假期提前学完中一Term1数学?
一、中学第一次考试的满分关键——有理数计算，代数思维
1. WA1中有理数计算占比：90%！！
进入中学的第一场考试，WA1(Weighted Assessment 1)，大概在2月底。
我们统计了RI, RGS, HCI, NYGH, RVGH, VS，CCHMS等中学在中学WA1考试的内容分布, 重点就在于计算，在WA1里的占比高达90%。
2. 有理数计算并不简单
中学计算的复杂程度提升巨大，涉及正负数、绝对值、乘方、根号、括号等。
同时，小学阶段习惯了依赖计算器，导致很多同学对计算能力不重视，功底不扎实，基本的分数小数计算都算不清楚。
计算只知道计算方法是完全不够的，需要大量时间坚持练习，反思，总结。否则，即便是名校学生不经过足够的练习也会遇到困难。
3. 计算是代数学习的基础
代数本质是用“字母”代替了“数”，但是之间的计算关系依旧沿用“数”的计算方法，而且也无法使用计算器，所以计算功底不扎实，必然影响未来代数的学习。

4. 中一Term1数学满分的方法——“提前学”！！
计算光知道计算方法是不够的，需要刻意练习与总结方法和规律，而初入中一，同学们忙于适应中学的环境以及更多科目的学习，结交新的朋友，选择CCA等事情，是没有合适且充足的时间加以练习的。所以假期是我们解决中学第一道坎“计算与代数思想“的最佳时期。
二、Kangaroo取得的成绩
·2023年第一届学员参加SMO（Junior）：
探索班10人参加考试，100％进入二轮，10人金牌，6人进入Top30，4人进top10， 5人首次进入Junior Training Team。
·2024年第二届学员参加SMO（Junior）
探索班19人参加Junior，100％进入二轮，其中二轮考试第5题是假期课讲义原题，10人进入Top30, 3人进入Top10；16人 (占全部学员的84%）进入Junior Training Team。
·O&A-Level数学拓展课程学员1OO%A
除中学数学竞赛课程外，O&A-Level数学拓展课程学员于所有校内考试中取得了优异成绩，100%学员获得A1/A2的优秀成绩，92%学员获得A1.
·探索班学员Yang Yihan
经过Nations Training Team层层选拔，中四入选2024 IMO新加坡国家代表队（全国共6人），并在IMO中获得新加坡队唯一金牌，排名世界第14名。
三、假期学习计划——
5次课解决中一半年的数学知识
1. 假期课程大纲
为了帮助孩子在正式进入中一前，打好数的认识，计算，与代数的基础。假期课将用5节课的时间学习心中一的预科，覆盖Term1与部分Term2的全部考点，为孩子打好整个中学数学学习的基础。
2. 课程时间安排
目前三个班级均接近满班，后期会根据需求开设新班级，同时在假期课也会开设线上课程，如有任何问题随时与高老师联系。
四、授课老师介绍
Teacher Jeremiah Ang (Lesson in English)
·Jeremiah Ang is a talented and experienced mathematics education expert, currently serving as the Head of Primary to Secondary School Transition and Teaching Supervisor at Kangaroo.Study.
·Growing up in Singapore, he has a deep and practical understanding of the local education system and is adept at identifying difficulties commonly faced by students in the various learning stages.
·Since joining Kangaroo.Study, Jeremiah Ang has earned widespread recognition from students and parents for his innovative approach that combines psychology and teaching methods to create personalized learning paths, truly implementing differentiated instruction.
Teacher Zhang Wenlong（Lesson in English）:
·Graduated from Beijing Foreign Studies University with a major in English. During high school, Teacher Zhang participated in math competitions and received awards. Throughout the university years, he gained extensive teaching experience as a teaching assistant, particularly in mathematics and English.
·Teacher Zhang has insights into interacting with children of various age groups. And Teacher Zhang advocates for guided teaching, encouraging children to think independently and find problem-solving approaches, thus fostering their own logical thinking skills.
