Target Audience: Adults aged 18 and above
Participation Quota: Due to limited space and materials, each session is limited to 20 participants on a first-come, first-served basis.
How to Participate: The activity is free and no reservation is required. Interested participants should arrive at PSA 30 minutes before the activity, enter through the main entrance, take the escalator to the 5th floor SPA space to register.

Beading is a very common folk handicraft, a lovely way of reusing materials. The designer has prepared various interesting bead materials and invites everyone to make coasters, necklaces, and other small items, combining materials according to their preferences.

活动对象：全年龄段观众（6-12岁儿童可由1位家长陪同参加）
活动费用：150元/位，会员享9折

签到：活动当天，请预约成功的观众提前20分钟到达PSA，从VIP入口核对预约码进馆，前往三楼临江平台展厅。

1920年代，香奈儿在英国接触到斜纹软呢（tweed）面料后深受斜纹软呢质地和结构的启发，香奈儿会将羊毛与丝绸、棉、或其他材料混纺，使其更轻巧，适合她的设计风格。本次工作坊中，织物设计师陈殷珏将带领参与者们了解斜纹软呢面料的历史、结构、样式和特点，介绍设计师香奈儿与其所钟爱的斜纹软呢的“合作史”。同时将在专业导师的指导下习得识别面料结构的能力和基础的编织技术。
In the 1920s, Chanel was inspired by the texture and structure of tweed fabric when she encountered it in England. Chanel would blend wool with silk, cotton, or other materials to make it lighter and more suitable for her design style.In this workshop, textile designer Chen Yinjue will guide participants to understand the history, structure, styles, and characteristics of tweed fabric, introducing the "collaboration history" between designer Chanel and her beloved tweed. Participants will also learn to identify fabric structures and basic weaving techniques under the guidance of professional instructors.

This is the fourth session of the "Fashion Manifesto | Gabrielle Chanel" exhibition lecture and dialogue series. It will focus on the work and circumstances of Western women fashion designers from the late 19th to early 20th centuries. On Saturday evening, Sophie Kurkdjian from the Institute of Contemporary History in France and Mellissa Huber, Associate Curator at The Costume Institute of The Metropolitan Museum of Art, will give online presentations on these topics.

安奈特·梅莎吉的中国首次大型个展“杂念”正在PSA展出。9月22日周日，哥伦比亚裔法国策展人玛丽亚·伊内斯·罗德里格斯（Maria Inés Rodriguez）将在梅莎吉开创性工作的基础上，探讨巴贝特·曼戈尔特（Babette Mangolte）、比阿特丽斯·冈萨雷斯（Beatriz Gonzalez）和朱迪·芝加哥（Judy Chicago）、以及罗莎·巴尔巴（Rosa Barba）、莱昂诺尔·安图内斯（Leonor Antunes）等数位女性艺术家的“平行之途”——虽然来自不同代际，她们同样挑战了常规并改变了当代艺术。本次讲座将着重呈现女性在艺术领域争取可见度和认可的持续斗争，突出这些艺术家如何继续推动艺术表达的边界。
Annette Messager's first large-scale solo exhibition in China, "Idle Thoughts," is currently on display at PSA. On Sunday, September 22, Colombian-French curator María Inés Rodriguez will explore the "parallel paths" of several women artists including Babette Mangolte, Beatriz Gonzalez, Judy Chicago, Rosa Barba, and Leonor Antunes, based on Messager's groundbreaking work. Although from different generations, they all challenged conventions and changed contemporary art. This lecture will focus on women's ongoing struggle for visibility and recognition in the art world, highlighting how these artists continue to push the boundaries of artistic expression.
