The U19 Girls Volleyball team from WASCZ kicked off their season with an impressive display of dominance at the ISNAC Division 2 tournament. They emerged victorious, not dropping a single set, and remained unbeaten throughout the competition.
This triumph is a demonstration of the team's unwavering commitment to their training program. Every Monday and Thursday evening, under the guidance of a specialist volleyball coach and the support of Miss Wu, Mr Meehan, Mr Ristic, and Mr Darlington, the girls have diligently honed their skills and teamwork. Their hard work and dedication were on full display in the tournament.
Led by senior players Ms C. Ma, Ms A. Wang, Ms M. Hu, and Ms J. Wang, WASCZ faced off against the British School of Nanjing and Nanjing Foreign Language School, dominating each set with a powerful and cohesive team effort. Maintaining their commanding position, the girls regularly rotated squad members to ensure that the entire bench participated, demonstrating the depth of the squad and a high level of sportsmanship.
