Notice on Summer Vacation 2024

全体留学生：

All international students,

根据我校《关于2024年暑期安排的通知》要求，为切实做好暑期学生教育管理工作，确保校园安全稳定，现将假期相关事宜通知如下： 

In accordance with the upgraded requirements for the work arrangement of the upcoming summer vacation (rotation), and to effectively promote the students education management and ensure the safety and stability of our campus, the relevant matters are hereby notified as follows:

一、放假时间安排 Vacation Time：

2024年7月13日-9月18日，9月19日-9月20日注册报到，9月23日（星期一）上课。如未按时返校注册报到，奖学金评选将受影响。本科生新生、研究生新生报到时间另行通知。留学生工作办公室将于2024年7月15日-8月29日放假。2024年8月30日正式上班。

The summer vacation of 2024 is from July 13 to Sept. 18, 2024. The registration date for the new semester is on Sept. 19-20, 2024. Classes will be resumed formally on Sept. 23, 2024. If you don't register on time, your scholarship evaluation will be affected. The registration date for undergraduate and graduate freshmen will be announced separately. International Students Affairs Office will be closed from July 15 to August 29, 2024. We will start working normally from August 30.

二、留学生管理 Management of International Students：

1、在医院实习或轮转的本科生、研究生，须按照实习或轮转要求完成工作任务，请假离岗和返岗需严格履行请假手续。

Undergraduates and postgraduates who are doing internship or rotation in the hospital must complete their work tasks according to the requirements of internship or rotation, and strictly follow the procedures of leaving application。

2、暑假期间无特殊情况，将不再受理居留许可延期申请。如有学生居留许可需要办理延期，请于7月12日17：00前联系辅导员申请办理。

No application for extension of residence permit will be accepted during the summer vacation except for special circumstances. If you need to apply for an extension of your residence permit, please contact your counselor by 5:00 PM on July 12th to apply.

3、校内住宿学生每晚十点半前返回宿舍，积极配合物管人员查房；校外住宿学生增强安全意识，注意用电安全和人身安全。所有学生离徐返徐须严格履行在线请假手续。

Students living in both campuses should return to the dormitory before 22:30 every night and actively cooperate with the property management personal on room inspection. Students living off campus should further enhance their safety awareness and pay attention to electricity safety and personnel safety. For all the students who are leaving or returning to Xuzhou, they must follow the online procedure of leave. 
4、留学生宿舍房间维修及水、电、空调故障报修请联系宿管人员登记。

Please contact property dorm staff for room maintenance and repair of water, electricity and air conditioning, etc.

5.留学生应在开学后一个月内缴清学费、住宿费、保险费等所有费用，并至财务处开具缴费收据，逾期未缴清者将收到《学费缴纳预警书》，仍不能完成费用清缴者，将被给予处分直至开除学籍取消居留许可。

International students must pay all fees such as tuition, accommodation and insurance etc. within one month after the start of the semester and obtain a payment receipt from the finance office. Those who fail to pay on time will receive a 'Tuition Payment Warning Notice.' If they still cannot complete the payment, they will be subject to disciplinary actions, up to and including the university expulsion and cancellation of their residence permit.

三、注意事项 Notice:
1、请全体留学生务必遵守中国法律法规和校纪校规。如有违法违规者，学院将视情节轻重，给予严重警告及以上处分。

All international students must comply with Chinese laws and regulations in addition to our university’s policies. Students who violate laws and regulations will be given a serious warning or above punishment according to the severity of their violence.
2、提高安全防范意识，包括假期交通安全、人身安全、财产安全、饮食安全、防火、防溺水、防盗窃等，注意自我保护。

Enhance safety awareness, including holiday traffic safety, personal safety, property safety, food safety, fire prevention, drowning prevention, theft prevention, and self-protection.
3、提倡科学，坚决抵制邪教和宗教极端主义、不涉及黄赌毒。

Advocate for science, resolutely resist cults and religious extremism, and avoid involvement in pornography, gambling, and drugs.

4、禁止暑期非法打工。

Strictly prohibit illegal summer employment.

5、离校学生请在离校前关好门窗、关闭电源，身份证、护照、学生证、校园卡等重要证件及贵重物品，请随身携带。严禁将宿舍钥匙交给他人使用。

Before leaving school, please close the doors and windows, and turn off the power. Please bring important documents and valuables such as ID card, passport, student ID card, campus card with you. It is strictly prohibited to give the dormitory key to others.

6、严防电信诈骗，接到陌生电话、收到陌生短信，做到 “不相信、不上当” ，选择正规平台进行网上购物。

Please guard against telecom network fraud carefully. Don’t believe it and don’t get fooled if you receive any unfamiliar call or massage. Choose the formal platform for online shopping.
7、如遇紧急情况或需其他帮助，请和学院值班老师联系。

In case of emergency or other assistance, please contact the teacher on duty of School of International Education.
