Influence of Operating Parameters on Temperature Rise Characteristics of High-Speed Angular Contact Ball Bearings

Abstract: A temperature rise test is carried out using operating parameters such as lubricating oil temperature, rotational speed, radial load, axial load and oil injection amount as variables to analyze the influence of operating factors on temperature rise characteristics of high-speed angular contact ball bearings. The grey correlation method is used to study the influence degree of different operating parameters on bearing temperature rise. The test results show that there is a nonlinear relationship between oil injection amount and bearing temperature rise;there is an optimal axial preload that reduces the bearing temperature rise, and the axial force required for the bearings to reach optimal preload state varies under different rotational speed conditions;the influence degree of various operating parameters on bearing temperature rise varies from high to low, including lubricating oil temperature, rotational speed, oil injection amount, axial load and radial load.
