例1:
For a person who is declared dead, the date when the people's court renders the judgment to declare the person's death shall be deemed as the date of death of the person; if the person is declared dead due to its unknown whereabouts caused by an accident, the date when the accident occurs shall be deemed as the date of death of the person.
被宣告死亡的人,人民法院宣告死亡的判决作出之日视为其死亡的日期;因意外事件下落不明宣告死亡的,意外事件发生之日视为其死亡的日期。
