2024年10月16日，联合国教科文组织与中国将举行战略对话，进一步强化双方在推动优质教育、保护文化遗产和促进可持续发展方面的共同承诺。

On 16 October 2024, a strategic dialogue between UNESCO and China will be held, reinforcing their shared commitment to advancing quality education, preserving cultural heritage, and promoting sustainable development for all.
This ongoing collaboration ensures a dynamic, flexible response to emerging global challenges. China’s consistent engagement strengthens UNESCO’s multidisciplinary efforts and underscores its long-term commitment to fostering a more peaceful, inclusive, and sustainable world.
China and UNESCO have developed a stable relationship that is conducive to world peace and prosperity. China attaches great importance to UNESCO and firmly supports its important objectives. This partnership focuses on joint efforts to strengthen higher technical education in Africa, enhance STEM education, and safeguard cultural heritage. It also drives major initiatives such as the Silk Roads Programme, the Man and the Biosphere Programme, and the UNESCO Courier. Additionally, China plays a key role in empowering women and girls through education, particularly through the UNESCO Prize for Girls’ and Women’s Education. Over the past decade, the two sides have continuously deepened practical cooperation and achieved fruitful results, actively contributing to peace and sustainable development, especially to the progress of education, science, and culture in developing countries.
