About this position
Aarhus University, ranked among the top 100 universities globally, is expanding its Department of Computer Science through a strategic investment in recruitment. The department is seeking to hire four new faculty members in 2025, offering opportunities for Assistant Professors and Associate Professors in computer science.
Key Areas of Interest:
The department has renowned research groups in Algorithms, Data Structures and Foundations of Machine Learning, Data-Intensive Systems, Cryptography and Cyber Security, Computational Complexity and Game Theory, Logic and Semantics, Ubiquitous Computing and Interaction, Collaboration and Computer-Human Interaction, and Programming Languages.
Qualifications
They are particularly looking for candidates who can contribute to the key areas and further expand competencies in Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence, NLP/Large Language Models, Quantum Computing, Quantum Cryptography, Economics and Computation, Tangible/Physical Computing, Systems and Networks, and Software Engineering.
