About this position
Duration: Two years
Salary: Starting at 27,000€ per year (adjustable based on experience)
Teaching: No teaching duties required, but optional lecturing opportunities are available
Start Date: Between September 1st and December 15th, 2025
Research Scope
Candidates should propose a research project aligning with the areas covered by CERMICS:
Mathematical analysis (deterministic and stochastic models)
Numerical analysis
Optimization
Operations research
Probability
Discrete mathematics
Collaboration with permanent researchers at CERMICS is encouraged, and candidates may find the list of researchers here.

Requirement
Open to individuals with a PhD (or those completing a PhD) in mathematics, computer science, or related fields
Candidates of any nationality are welcome
PhD must be completed before the contract begins
