在海南枫叶国际学校初中英语中心，一场充满激情与活力的英语日活动于 2024 年 11 月 14 日在八年级 3 班和八年级 8 班精彩上演。
In the MLIS-Hainan middle school English center, a passionate and energetic English Day activity was splendidly held in Class 3 and Class 8 of Grade 8 on November 14, 2024.
此前，同学们欣赏了其他班级英语日分享的奥运冠军故事，早已跃跃欲试。本次活动以 “奥运精神，点亮梦想” 为主题，同学们用流利的英语分享了外国奥运冠军的传奇故事。他们讲述了安德烈德格拉塞在赛道上的风驰电掣，勒布朗・詹姆斯在篮球场上的王者风范，里奥梅西在足球场上的灵动技艺，科比・布莱恩特的曼巴精神以及迈克尔・菲尔普斯在泳池中的无敌英姿。每一个故事都传递着坚韧不拔、拼搏进取的奥运精神。
Previously, the students had appreciated the stories of Olympic champions shared by other classes on English Day and were already eager to have a try. This activity was themed "Olympic Spirit, Lighting Up Dreams", and the students shared the legendary stories of foreign Olympic champions in fluent English. They told about Andre De Grasse's lightning speed on the track, LeBron James' kingly demeanor on the basketball court, Lionel Messi's agile skills on the football field, Kobe Bryant's Mamba spirit, and Michael Phelps' invincible posture in the swimming pool. Each story conveys the indomitable and enterprising Olympic spirit.
现场气氛热烈，同学们的脸上洋溢着灿烂的笑容。他们不仅锻炼了英语口语能力，还激发了学习英语的浓厚兴趣。同时，这次活动也培养了同学们的自我表现能力，为他们提供了一个勇敢自信展示自己的舞台。
The atmosphere on the spot was warm, and the students' faces were filled with bright smiles. They not only exercised their oral English ability but also stimulated a strong interest in learning English.
