2024年8月30日8:30-12:00，海南大区英语中心英语等级测试（MELT）命题培训在海枫校区顺利举行。本次培训特邀枫叶教育集团ESL教研中心英语等级测试项目主任赵宏女士，以强化年级英语等级考试的考点分析、试卷命题、利用教材教授为例进行专题培训。来自海枫、江东各初小学部的英语中心主任，骨干教师与备课组长与强化年级老师们参与了本次培训。
From 8:30 to 12:00 on August 30, 2024, the Maple Leaf English Level Test (MELT) training of the English Center in MLIS-Hainan was successfully held. Ms. Zhao Hong, the MELT project director of the English Center of MLES , was specially invited for this training. The training aims to solve problems teacher meet in MELT. Core teachers as representatives from each campus of English center in MLIS-Hainan participated in this training.
MELT：英语等级测试，是由枫叶教育集团ESL教研中心主导研创，枫叶小学、初中、高中ESL强化学生参加的枫叶集团统一标准化测试。具备英语定级及检测阶段性学习效果的双重功能，更是强化年级学生能否升级进入世界课程的决定性评判因素。所以，本次的培训意义重大，一线教师与集团命题者面对面深入交流，赵宏主任帮助老师们抓取考试重点，理清教学思路，充分利用教材，有针对性的对学生进行考题训练，有效提升考试通过率。
MELT is the standardized test compiled by Maple Leaf ESL for all students from ESL grade. MELT reflects students’ learning outcomes, it plays an important role in grading students’ English level as well. Therefore, this training is of great significance. Director Zhao Hong leads teachers grasp the key points of the exam, clarify teaching ideas, make full use of textbooks, and conduct targeted exam training for students, effectively improving the exam pass rate.
本次培训别开生面，3个小时的培训干货满满，精彩纷呈。培训以破冰游戏开场，迅速拉近彼此距离，建立起海南校区英语中心团队与集团英语中心团队的沟通桥梁。培训以强化年级2024年7月考试题目为例设置思考题，引导教师思考学生失分点，随后逐一拆解试卷题目，展示英语阅读、写作各题型设置的比重；另外，培训设置出题环节，帮助教师站在命题者角度思考命题逻辑与方法，开阔老师们的教学思路，最后设置答疑环节，老师们纷纷针对自己所教的等级及学科提出疑问，受益匪浅。
This training was unique and wonderful. The three-hour training was packed with valuable content and full of highlights.Using the test questions of the enhanced grades in July 2024 as an example, thought-provoking questions were set up to guide teachers to think about the points where students lost marks. In addition, a question-setting session was arranged to help teachers think about the logic and methods of proposition from the perspective of proposers, broadening their teaching ideas.
