2024 年 10 月 17 日，海南枫叶国际学校海枫初中英语中心迎来了本学期第二次英语日活动。本次活动以 “分享奥运冠军的故事” 为主题，七 1、七 3、七 6 班的同学们积极参与，共同感受奥运精神的魅力。
On October 17, 2024, the MLIS-Hainan middle school English center welcomed the second English Day activity of this semester. This activity was themed " The Stories of Olympic Champions". Students from Class 1, Grade 7, Class 3, Grade 7, and Class 6, Grade 7 actively participated and jointly felt the charm of the Olympic spirit.
在这个充满活力的日子里，孙颖莎、王楚钦、潘展乐、全红禅、谷爱凌等奥运冠军的故事成为了同学们关注的焦点。同学们用 PPT 和图片在讲台前向全班分享自己对奥运冠军故事的感悟。他们自信满满地站在讲台上，用流利的英语介绍着奥运冠军们的奋斗历程，赢得了同学们的阵阵掌声。
On this energetic day, the stories of Olympic champions like Sun Yingsha, Wang Chuqin, Pan Zhanle, Quan Hongchan, and Gu Ailing were the focus. Students shared their insights about the champions with PPT and pictures. Standing on the stage, they introduced the champions' striving journeys in English and won applause.
此外，孩子们也精心准备了手抄报，用英文和精美的画笔生动地重现了那些鼓舞人心的奥运画面。每一幅手抄报都饱含着同学们对奥运冠军的敬仰和对奥运精神的深刻理解。
In addition, the children also carefully prepared handwritten newspapers, vividly recreating those inspiring Olympic scenes with English and exquisite brushes. Each handwritten newspaper was filled with the students' admiration for the Olympic champions and their profound understanding of the Olympic spirit.
活动中，同学们以小组的形式相互交流分享，大家畅所欲言，分享着自己心目中奥运冠军的精彩瞬间。有的同学讲述了孙颖莎在乒乓球赛场上的顽强拼搏，有的同学赞美了王楚钦的高超球技，还有的同学对潘展乐的速度与激情、全红禅的完美跳水以及谷爱凌的勇敢挑战赞不绝口。通过交流，同学们不仅提高了英语表达能力，更深刻地体会到了奥运冠军们所展现出的坚韧不拔、勇于挑战、团结协作等精神品质。
During the activity, students interacted and shared in groups. They freely talked about the wonderful moments of Olympic champions. Some mentioned Sun Yingsha's struggle on the table tennis court, some praised Wang Chuqin's skills, and some admired Pan Zhanle's speed, Quan Hongchan's diving, and Gu Ailing's challenges. Through communication, students improved their English and experienced the spiritual qualities of the champions like perseverance, courage, and unity.
在整个英语日活动中，同学们脸上洋溢着笑容。他们在分享奥运冠军故事的过程中，收获了知识，提高了能力，更重要的是，感受到了奥运精神的力量。这种力量将激励着他们在今后的学习和生活中勇敢前行，不断挑战自我，追求卓越。
Throughout the English Day activity, smiles were on the students' faces. In the process of sharing the stories of Olympic champions, they gained knowledge, improved their ability, and more importantly, felt the power of the Olympic spirit. The English Day activity of the the MLIS-Hainan middle school English center offers a platform for students to show themselves and improve English. Through it, students can learn knowledge, cultivate teamwork and expression.
