为了致敬国际教育日、弘扬中华文化、深刻理解奥运精神，鼓励学生自信表达，全面展示海南枫叶国际学校的英语教学水平和课前演讲的实施成果，10月31日晚，海南枫叶国际学校小学部举办了“国际教育日暨第六届枫叶英语演讲比赛”海枫小学校区赛。本次演讲比赛以奥运为主题，将爱国情怀和奥运精神相融合，现场气氛热烈，选手们的表现令人印象深刻。比赛中参赛选手们各显神通，用自己的声音讲述奥运精神。
On October 31, 2024, English Center held the final of the The International Education Day—The 6th Maple Leaf Educational Systems English Speech Contest of MLIS-HN Elementary School. The students responded enthusiastically and enthusiastically participated in this event.
第一项：主持人介绍莅临本次比赛的领导和评委
Part1 Introduction
随着四位主持人介绍出席本次比赛的领导和评审团，宣读比赛规则，一场别开生面的演讲比赛正式拉开序幕。
As the four hosts introduced the leaders and judges attending the competition, and read out the rules of the competition, a unique speech contest officially kicked off.
第二项：演讲比赛正式开始
Part2 Competition began
这次比赛有27位选手，分别来自海枫小学低段组和高段组。比赛开始后各位参赛选手都展现出他们最出色的一面，以饱满的情感、自信的微笑、流畅而富有感情的语音进行演讲。他们时而委婉动听，时而激情澎湃，以清晰的发音、优美的语言和流利的口语介绍了他们最喜欢的运动员以及展示出他们对奥运精神的理解。一句句掷地有声、激昂动情的演讲，打动了现场的观众和评委，赢得阵阵热烈的掌声。
There were 27 contestants from grades 1-3 and 4-6. At the beginning of the competition, all the contestants showed their best side, speaking with full emotion, confident smiles, and smooth and emotional voices. The loud and passionate speech touched the audience and the judges, and won warm applause.

第三项：点评
Part3 Comments
外教老师Adam对此次比赛做出点评。对参与比赛的所有选手给予充分肯定，并对所有选手寄予期望。此次比赛不仅锻炼了学生们的英语口语能力，也赛出了枫叶学子的风采。
International teacher Mr. Adam made a conclusion about the contest. It is not only practice student’s English speaking ability, but also showed the style of Maple Leaf students. Hope they can get into a bigger stage and let more people listen to their voice!
王云霞校长也对此次参与演讲比赛的选手给予充分的赞赏，充分肯定所有英语教师背后的辛勤付出。并鼓励所有学生积极参与比赛中，不断提升自己，完善自己。
Principal Wang fully praised the contestants who participated in the speech contest and fully affirmed the hard work of all English teachers. All students are encouraged to actively participate in the competition, constantly improve themselves.

根据评委老师们的专业打分，最终选出“国际教育日暨第六届枫叶英语演讲比赛”—海枫小学校区赛的获奖选手们。领导们为此次优异的选手们颁发奖状，给予鼓励并合影留念。
According to the professional scores of the judges, the results of The International Education Day - The 6th Maple Leaf Educational Systems English Speech Contest of MLIS-HN Elementary School were finally selected. The leaders presented certificates of encouragement to the outstanding contestants, gave encouragement and took photos together.

The English Speech Contest was successfully concluded. The competition made the contestants fully show themselves, affirm themselves, and build their confidence in learning English well. We look forward to more excellent performance of the contestants in the future.
