The Allegations

She felt uneasy during the encounter but failed to react, attributing her hesitance to his perceived professionalism and cultural differences.
As the influencer shared her story online, numerous women came forward in the comments, recounting similar experiences. Many admitted they only realized the misconduct after hearing her account.
The yoga teacher reportedly targeted female clients and used his expertise in Thai-style therapeutic massage and passive yoga techniques to gain their trust. Victims described him as someone who initially appeared "spiritually wise, empathetic, and knowledgeable."
The Fallout
Following the accusations, the yoga instructor denied all wrongdoing in a message to his work group, claiming the allegations were baseless. He stated he had been questioned by police months prior, but no charges were filed due to insufficient evidence. However, he has since shut down his social media accounts, and his yoga classes at the original location have ceased.
Xiaohongshu’s customer service confirmed that directing users to offline transactions violates platform rules. The platform encouraged victims to retain evidence and report incidents to law enforcement immediately.
Legal and Public Response
The influencer filed a police report weeks after the incident but was informed that a lack of timely evidence meant no administrative penalties could be issued. Public reactions have been divided, with some criticizing the influencer for not reporting the abuse sooner, while others praised her for shedding light on a concerning pattern of behavior.
