On December 22, a woman in Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, reported being harassed by a foreign man. Local police confirmed that they are currently handling the matter.
Surveillance footage shows that at approximately 8:28 p.m., the woman was hugged from behind by a man while she was having coffee. After breaking free from his grasp, the woman put down her phone and confronted the man directly. In her social media post, the woman stated that the man who hugged her was a foreigner.
On December 23, staff at the Qingxiu Mountain Police Station confirmed that the woman had filed a report the previous evening. The incident is currently being handled by the on-duty officers.
