Jeff Bezos, Amazon founder and executive chairman, is preparing for an extravagant wedding this Christmas with his partner Lauren Sanchez. The couple, who got engaged earlier this year, has chosen Aspen, Colorado, as the perfect location for their long-awaited ceremony.
Aspen, a picturesque ski town, has become a personal favorite of the couple, often spotted enjoying the wintery landscape together. For their wedding, they’re reportedly aiming to create a winter wonderland ambiance, with twinkling lights and festive décor, enhancing the holiday spirit. Bezos proposed to Sanchez in May 2023 during a vacation aboard his super-yacht in the South of France, presenting her with a stunning $2.5 million pink diamond engagement ring. Sanchez expressed her excitement about the upcoming wedding, saying in a Vogue interview, “You know what I’m most excited about? I get to marry the man of my dreams. I do. He’s amazing. I get to spend the rest of my life with him, and he loves my kids. And that is really what I am looking forward to.”
Bezos, too, has spoken fondly of his fiancée, noting how she’s had a positive influence on his personal relationships. “She’s always encouraging me: ‘Call your kids. Call your dad. Call your mom.’ And she’s also just a very good role model. She keeps in touch with people. I’ve never seen her put makeup on without calling somebody - usually her sister,” he said.
