Dear level 3 students,
This week you will sit a number of NAPLAN tests,but there
is something really important you need to know:
This test does not assess all the things that make you
wonderful and unique.
There is no test to measure how kind you are to your friends
or how much you love to draw. The people who mark the
tests don’t know how helpful you are to your Mum or Dad or
how inclusive you are when playing with others in the
playground. They do not know how confidently you share
your weekend stories with the class or your paticipation
in sports,music and art. They don’t know that you are a
caring friend and how you show the TRRAC values everyday.
There are no tests for these things!
Your results from these tests will not tell you everything!
These tests will not measure how much you have improved
on something you once found difficult ,or how much you love
a certain subject.They also won’t tell you how your stories
and jokes brighten up your teacher’s day!
We hope you come to school each day this week ready to try
your best ,and remember that there is no test in the world
that can measure all the wonderful things that make you,YOU!
