国防科技大学杨诺:声子弱耦合及靶向调控基础研究

Thermal functional materials play an important role in thermal management, energy storage, and energy conversion. Phonons are lattice vibrationwaves and thermal energy carriers, which are the main energy carriers in dielectric solids. After electronic engineering and photon engineering, the research progress of phononics and phonon engineering has attracted much attention. Phonon engineering is a discipline that utilizes micro/nano-structured phonon devices to design and regulate phonon transport and conversion playing a leading role in the design of thermal functional materials. The advancement of nanotechnology has also promoted the development of phonon engineering, thus there is an urgent need to understand the nanoscale phonon regulation and transport mechanisms. Professor Yang Nuo and his led heat transfer laboratory focus on fundamental and applied research on multi-scale heat transfer, thermal modulation, and thermal energy conversion.
