On the cover: An ancient ash tree growing in Herefordshire, England. In this issue, Hill et al. (pages R315–R316) estimate that the total cost of the invasive tree disease ash dieback in Britain will be £15 billion. The true cost of tree diseases has not previously been fully appreciated. There is a clear economic imperative to prevent future arrival of plant pests and diseases, and to effectively mitigate against those that do arrive. Trade in live plants and other biological material represents a market failure with severe social and ecological consequences. Photo © Gabriel Hemery. www.gabrielhemery.com.
anchorene可以诱导多种生长素的效应,这种效应依赖于indole-3-pyruvate介导的生长素合成路径以及由Group II Gretchen Hagen 3 (GH3) 介导的生长素失活路径(conjugation of indole-3-acetic acid (IAA) to amino acids, leading to the formation of inactivated storage forms).
IAA conjugation with glutamate.
