Teaching procedures:

Step1 Warm up (Greet each other)

T: Boys and girls, Im Miss Chen. Your new English teacher. First lets get to know each other.

Hello. Hi. Good afternoon. Nice to meet you.

Step2 Wrap-up time

1. Ask and answer   (in the classroom)

T: Today, we have a new friend here.  Look, who is he? (Hello, Im Zhang Hua. Im new here. I want to make new friends. ) 

Q: Who is he?  Zhang Hua.

T: Zhang Hua wants to make new friends. Do you want to be Zhang Huas new friends?

Ss: Yes!

T: Great! Miss Chen also wants to be his friend. Listen! (示范)

Now its your turn. Whod like to try?

S1/2 :

TNice! Give me five.

Now, Zhang Hua is in the playground. He wants to make more friends.

本课是译林版小学英语三年级上册Unit 2 Whats your name? 第三课时课内外融合阅读课,融合绘本为外文出版社《Name me》旨在通过绘本教学,激发学生阅读的兴趣,丰富阅读体验,培养阅读习惯。在学生感受绘本的趣味之余,有效提高他们的语音能力和思维创新能力。
1.Wrap-up time由综合性学习活动Make new friends和Think and share环节组成。其中综合性学习活动Make new friends由A Listen and order和B Ask and answer两个部分组成,要求学生围绕“介绍与询问”的主题,听录音排序,并以How do you make new friends?为话题,进行对话。此项活动不能弱化;英语课堂要体现知识本质化、环节活动化、内容趣味化。
2.Think and share引导学生回顾和总结本单元关于“介绍与询问”的语言知识,并回应本单元的Big question。不仅要激活学生的学习力,还要提高学生的思维张力,最终实现英语素养的提升。
3.从In the classroom 、In the playground(At school)自然过渡到In the forest,引出故事的主角Monkey,学生跟随着Monkey认识了森林中不同的动物,根据动物的特征,学会相互问答姓名,注重对学生观察能力的培养;给不知名的动物起名,旨在培养学生的思维创新能力。要把时间留给学生。
4.Assessment time为单元自评板块,与本单元的Learning objectives相呼应,要求学生对自己能否向新朋友介绍自己、能否询问他人姓名进行评价。本板块可作为形成性评价成为学习活动中的一部分,也可作为学习活动后的最终评价。
5.在双减政策下,作业设计将实效性和趣味性相结合,为此尝试布置了分层作业,让程度不同的孩子完成适合自己的作业内容。星级最高的作业让部分程度较好的孩子去完成。
