On September 4th, a Chinese tourist, Mr. Wang, had a harrowing experience on the beautiful Angel's Billabong Beach on Nusa Penida Island, Indonesia. Caught in a dangerous rip current, he was swept away from the shore and nearly drowned. Just as hope seemed to fade, a foreign man with long hair, resembling the famous superhero "Aquaman," came to his rescue.
According to Mr. Wang, he struggled to fight the powerful current, exhausting himself in the process. "I was desperately trying to swim back to shore for what felt like 5 or 6 minutes, but I was getting weaker and weaker," Wang recounted in an interview with Haibao News. "Just when I thought I couldn't hold on any longer, a foreign man with long hair, holding a swim ring in his left hand, appeared out of nowhere and saved me."
After the heroic rescue, the mystery man left the scene without leaving any contact information. Now, Mr. Wang has turned to social media to find his rescuer, hoping to express his deep gratitude. "If it weren’t for him, I might have died in the ocean’s beauty. I urgently want to find him and thank him properly," Wang shared.
The search for the unknown "Aquaman" has garnered widespread attention online, with netizens sharing Wang's story in hopes of locating the mysterious hero. Many have praised the foreign man’s bravery, with some calling him a “real-life superhero.”
One user commented, “He’s not just an Aquaman lookalike, but a true hero! We need more people like him in the world.” Another added, “I hope Wang finds him soon. Kindness should always be recognized.”
