In an extraordinary story from Hebei Province, a woman named Wu Guiying has become the subject of public attention after pretending to be paralyzed for 20 years. The incident, which started as a family dispute, spiraled into a prolonged deception that strained family bonds, disrupted lives, and ended with an unexpected turn of events.
Wu, now 35, claimed she became paralyzed at 15 following a heated argument with her older brother, which ended in her being slapped twice. In the aftermath, she insisted she could not walk, a condition that baffled doctors but was accepted by her family.
