A recent social media post has ignited a heated discussion about privacy and dating standards in modern China after a woman shared her discovery of celebrity adult content on her potential partner's phone during a blind date.

The incident occurred when the man was showing her photos of his hometown. While scrolling through his photo gallery, they accidentally stumbled upon explicit content featuring a popular celebrity, creating an awkward moment for both parties.

The woman, who shared her story anonymously online, provided context about their compatibility: while she holds a vocational degree, he graduated from a prestigious "985" university. She earns 5,000 yuan monthly compared to his 10,000 yuan salary. They both own properties - hers in a county town, his in an urban area. She describes herself as "7/10" in appearance at 158cm tall, while rating him "3/10" at 178cm.

The post has sparked diverse reactions from Chinese netizens. Many commenters focused on the broader implications for modern relationships:

"It's normal for single men to have such content, but storing it on their phone shows poor judgment," wrote one user, receiving thousands of likes.

Another popular comment suggested, "The real issue isn't the content - it's his carelessness in managing private materials while dating."

Some defenders argued that personal phone content shouldn't be a deal-breaker: "Everyone has private matters. The key is how he treats you in the relationship."

However, other users raised concerns about character: "If he's not careful with such private content during early dating stages, what else might he be careless about in the future?"
